On Saturday, Joule Energy joined forces with several solar companies and local non-profits at the Whole Foods Market Arabella Station to celebrate SolarDay 2011 and spread awareness about renewable energy possibilities. With solar-powered smoothies and baked goods, interactive displays, and crowds of excited people, the event was a huge success - and a lot of fun! The unprecedented success of Solar Day was an important step for Louisiana, as many homeowners learned that solar energy is a very real, and very rewarding, option for residents of Louisiana - our nation’s leader in solar energy incentives. We were thrilled to take part in the international movement towards a clean and sustainable future. We want to extend a big thank you to everyone who came out, and a special thanks to GSREIA for organizing this celebration of solar energy.
